Now in its fifth generation of family members working in the construction industry, Bennett Builders
is one of the premier, award-winning construction companies in the area. Having worked part-time as a
teenager in the plumbing contracting business of his father and grandfather, Neil Bennett loved the
construction business. He started working as a carpenter while attending college part-time, doing
some small remodeling jobs along the way. In 1950, he decided to branch off on his own, starting
up his own carpentry and remodeling business, and as they say, the rest is history.
Over time, Neil expanded his business, moving from remodeling work to new home construction. Since then,
the company has expanded into land development, multi family residential construction, commercial construction,
and property management. Its heart and soul still remains the custom home building business. We can count many
satisfied clients spread throughout over 50 cities in the Greater Cleveland area that we have built in over the
years. Today, Neil still oversees the company operations, but insists on personally visiting every job site on
an almost daily basis, making sure the quality of our product is foremost.

Neil's son, Don, went into the public accounting field, working for a large national CPA firm after graduating
from college, before returning to the family business in 1976. A CPA, Don oversees the financial, tax, and
administrative areas of the business. He has been active in the industry, and is a past president of the
Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland.
Debbie, Neil's daughter, joined the business soon after Don. She oversees the sales staff, and meets personally
with many of our clients. In addition, she has hands-on control of purchasing and subcontractor relationships,
assuring that only the best materials and finest craftsmen work on each of our new homes. Debbie's husband, Kevin,
oversees all field construction, and has been with us since 1979.
After having worked in the sports information and accounting fields out of college, respectively, Don's sons, Tim and Mark now represent the fifth
generation of the family to be turning the dreams of many into a home that they can be proud of. Bring us
